🤖 AI PC with Dual Detachable Display

👋 Welcome back to TechDiary.co.in!

We've seen thin laptops, powerful laptops, and foldable ones. But one thing remained constant: if it broke, you threw it away. At MWC 2026, Lenovo showcased a concept that might redefine the laptop entirely.

Introducing the Lenovo ThinkBook Modular AI PC Concept. Lenovo ThinkBook Modular AI PC Concept.

What is Modular?

The highlight is the secondary display that snaps off magnetically. Use it as a wireless graphics tablet, a presentation clicker, or just to save weight. The AI automatically shifts your workflow when you detach it.

Creator Mode

Detach the screen and use it as a standalone drawing tablet with stylus support. No wires needed.

Presentation Pro

Hand the second screen to your client or boss. It runs independently while you control the main deck.

Weight & Battery

Remove the second screen to extend battery life by up to 30% and reduce travel weight.

AI Auto-Switch AI

When you pull the screen off, the NPU instantly reroutes sound and video calls to the main display.

Customizable Ports

Hate dongles? This concept lets you physically swap port modules. Need HDMI today? Pop it in. Need an SD Card Reader tomorrow? Swap it out.

English meeting on main screen, live Marathi/Hindi subtitles on the detached secondary screen.

Detach the screen and the AI pauses YouTube on the second screen and resumes it on the main laptop automatically.

⚡ Performance & Battery (Silicon-Carbon) ⚡

Rumors suggest Lenovo is using new Silicon-Carbon battery tech for 75Wh capacity in a slim chassis. Both screens are OLED with 120Hz refresh rate.

📝 TechDiary Verdict 📝

This is still a Concept. It might not launch tomorrow. But Lenovo has proved one thing: The laptop is no longer just an aluminum slab. It's a companion that adapts to *you*.

Would you want a Modular Laptop like this? Or do you prefer traditional laptops?
