INTRODUCING THE ALL NEW MAC MINI-APPLE

The newly launched Mac mini in October 2024 brings a sleek, compact design and Apple’s latest M4 and M4 Pro chips, making it one of the most powerful yet smallest versions in the Mac mini lineup. Apple has redesigned this Mac mini to reduce its footprint significantly, giving it a boxy 5-inch by 5-inch structure, similar to the Apple TV. This marks the first major design overhaul since 2010, with a focus on both compactness and performance.

The M4 and M4 Pro chips provide robust performance upgrades. The M4 is well-suited for standard users, while the M4 Pro caters to more intensive computing tasks, such as video editing and gaming. The new Mac mini’s M4 version can handle up to three displays, with options like 8K at 60Hz and 4K at 240Hz, while the M4 Pro can support 6K displays, making it ideal for creators and professionals needing high-resolution output.

In terms of connectivity, Apple has replaced USB-A ports with USB-C, including two USB-C ports on the front and three Thunderbolt ports at the back. The M4 model offers Thunderbolt 4, while the M4 Pro boasts Thunderbolt 5, which significantly improves data transfer speeds up to 120Gb/s. Other connectivity options include an HDMI 2.1 port for enhanced video output, a 3.5mm headphone jack with high-impedance support, and a Gigabit Ethernet port configurable up to 10Gb. Wireless features include support for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, providing better connectivity options.

The new Mac Mini with Apple’s M4 and M4 Pro chips has just launched in India, and it offers notable improvements over the previous models. Here are the main price points for the base configurations:

Mac Mini M4 (10-core CPU, 10-core GPU, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD) starts at ₹59,900.
Mac Mini M4 (with 512GB SSD) is priced at ₹79,900.
Mac Mini M4 Pro (12-core CPU, 16-core GPU, 24GB RAM, 512GB SSD) starts at ₹1,49,900.

This new lineup is available to order now and will start shipping in India from November 8, 2024. Both models feature expanded connectivity options, including Thunderbolt 4 on the M4 and Thunderbolt 5 on the M4 Pro, along with Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3, providing a versatile range of ports and connections suitable for professional use. The model will be available for pre-order in November 2024.
